Exinda Strengthens its Latin American Presence with new Vice President of Sales

Company appoints Alex Maduro to lead sales and channel strategies.

Exinda Inc., a leading global provider of WAN optimization and application acceleration solutions, today announced the appointment Alex Maduro to Vice President, Sales for Latin America. Alex will oversee all of Exinda’s Caribbean and Latin American (CALA) sales operations and initiatives to create new revenue opportunities for its partners throughout the region and drive Exinda’s revenue growth.

Exinda has embarked upon a period of expansion in its field organization to meet the needs of its rapidly growing customer base worldwide. The company has experienced several successive quarters of strong Q/Q growth and expects this trend to continue for the foreseeable future. This senior hire, along with the addition of Kevin Kirksey in North America and Willem Verhoof in Benelux enhances Exinda's ability to better serve its customers and partners.

Alex brings to Exinda more than twelve years of experience in leading sales organizations and building effective value-added reseller channels in more than 27 countries in CALA. Before joining Exinda, Alex was Vice President of Business Development for Afina Systems, a major Latin American technology distributor. Alex also served as Director of Channels for Latin America at Ericsson, implementing its Indirect Channel Program Plus in Latin America. Previously, Alex managed CALA sales for WAN optimization supplier Packeteer, where he increased the company’s regional sales by 36 per cent for seven consecutive years, generating more than $40M in revenue via a network of over 200 channel partners.
