This asset acquisition, and welding and assembly services, reinforces our commitment to being our customers' single-source, vertically integrated supplier of high-quality, short-lead time engineerd products. That requires excellent equipment and people.

Alexandria Industries today announced it has purchased the plastic injection equipment assets of a North Dakota-based manufacturer of injection molded components. This additional equipment complements and strengthens Alexandria Industries’ current capacity to engineer and manufacture close-tolerance plastic components and polyurethane products for its customers’ applications. It also creates employment opportunities for skilled workers.

In addition to the new equipment assets, Alexandria Industries will also integrate TIG/MIG welding and full assembly services into its recently acquired, 30,000-square-foot Alexandria Industries Plastic Injection and Foam Molding facility in Wheaton, Minn.

“Bringing our customers’ end products to life requires continual investments in our people, processes and equipment,” said Tom Schabel, CEO of Alexandria Industries. “This asset acquisition, and welding and assembly services, reinforces our commitment to being our customers’ single-source, vertically integrated supplier of high-quality, short-lead time engineered products. That requires excellent equipment but more importantly it requires excellent people.”

The expansion creates the opportunity to double the size of its workforce with new job openings at the Wheaton facility. Skilled candidates seeking an opportunity to work in a value-based, customer-focused environment can learn more on the employment page of the company’s website.
