Alpine Furniture uses sustainable practices in their production process as they mainly use solid rubberwood. This type of wood is harvested and replanted on plantations creating a sustainable cycle. Most of the dining table tops and case good tops are produced with wood veneers. Other parts on the products are usually made with solid wood. Products are produced in Vietnam, Indonesia, China, and Malaysia. Quality control agents check items for defects before they are shipped to Alpine's US warehouses in Santa Fe Springs, CA, and Hayward, CA. A quality control team also inspects furniture for any defects and ensure all necessary hardware and assembly instructions are provided at their local warehouses. Packaging is protected with V-Board on the exterior edges of each box to improve the durability during shipping. Large items are placed on pallets with straps and shrink wrap.
Alpine Furniture will soon be revealing four upholstery collections including sofas, loveseats, and sectionals in the Fall of 2011. Their new upholstery line will be made in the USA and can be fully customized.
