USAMM Giving Audience Latest "Histury Unhitched" Webisode
Milwaukie, OR (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 -- Local military uniform superstore, USAMM, is presenting another installment of their online series, "History Unhitched" here, today, providing viewers a fun and interesting historical experience.
The videos – highlighting military figures such as Admiral Eugene Fluckey, Colonel Jack Treadwell, Audie Murphy and others – run an average of one minute-long, while detailing the recipients of U.S. military medals like the Medal of Honor and the Navy Cross. The newest episode focuses on sharpshooter, Alvin C. York.
York was awarded the Medal of Honor for actions against the German army during World War I.
"We were really looking for something outside of sales with this Histury Unhitched project," said Jared Zabaldo, USAMM, LLC President of Business Operations.
USAMM owns and operates USA Military Medals along with various other e-commerce stores.
"It's about letting our customers know that we care about more than just invoices and stock," said Zabaldo, before adding, "It's letting them know that we care about our customers."
Utilizing illustrations, photographs and entries from USAMM’s popular blog, "Histury Unhitched" is currently scheduled to run at least every two weeks.
"So that's kind of where this YouTube channel was born; as a sort of way to connect more with our customers, while sharing a degree of appreciation for everything our armed forces have done and do," said Zabaldo.
The channel is live and may be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/USAMILITARYMEDALS.
