AmbushCall released its new plans & pricing this past week. Packages start at just £0.99 per month for Air Ambush, £3.99 per month for Land Ambush, and £6.99 per month for Sea Ambush.
AmbushCall is a prepaid service that allows subscribers to unmask private, blocked, and restricted calls that appear on their mobile caller id. In addition, AmbushCall offers a Nuisance Caller List that when added, will play back a ‘number disconnected’ message when contacting the subscriber. AmbushCall works with most monthly mobile providers throughout the United Kingdom, including: EE, Three, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, & Vodafone. Providers that offer prepaid (Pay-As-You-Go) plans with no call-forwarding feature are not supported at this time. AmbushCall plans to support additional mobile and landline providers in the coming months.
Customer reactions to this effective new service have been fantastic. In fact, AmbushCall was recently mentioned in several articles (The Sun, Daily Mail, & Manchester Evening News) for helping a subscriber expose a nuisance caller by unmasking the blocked calls that were bombarding her mobile phone.
AmbushCall works by using the conditional call-forwarding feature of a mobile phone to send rejected calls to AmbushCall for unmasking. When a blocked or restricted call appears, the user simply presses the ignore/decline button on their mobile phone and the call is sent to AmbushCall’s system where it is unmasked. The unmasked number is then immediately sent back to the subscriber through an email or text message.
