Utahans can nominate deserving families from April 18 to September 1 at http://www.americahometoday.com/homemakeover/stories.php after completing a simple site registration. Each submission should include a description of the family being nominated and why they are deserving of a home makeover. Photos and video of the nominated families are also encouraged.

During the submission period, each nominated family can be rated by the public on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the most deserving of a home makeover. After the September 1 deadline, the top 10 rated families will be researched to confirm they are truly in need of a home remodel, and then a celebrity panel will choose the winning family.
