A lifelong outdoorsman, Tim Herald, has hunted big game from whitetail deer to cape buffalo all over the world. Herald has amassed extensive experience as a professional outdoor writer, editor and television host and he now brings this experience to American-Hunter.com as an Editor. From bowhunting and firearm gear reviews, to insider deals on outfitter / guide packages, and recent hunts for an Alaskan Grizzly, Herald shares his wealth of knowledge with the American-Hunter.com community -- answering questions, sharing trophy hunting tips and tactics, and enriching the spirit of the hunt and the outdoorsmen's lifestyle.

Herald holds a Master's degree in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Kentucky. As a professional outdoor writer for more than a decade, Herald is a respected contributor of several outdoor publications such as North American Hunter, Sports Afield, and Bowhunt America. He also contributes to television programs such as Whitetail Country, Pro Hunter Journal on ESPN2, and many more. His newest project is the action packed series THE ZONE currently being shot, and being produced by Magnum Global Media. Airing begins in
July 2010. Tim currently lives in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife and two sons.
