Atlanta, GA (Vocus) February 6, 2010
The American Trakehner Association (ATA) is pleased to present a fantastic selection of 43 approved Trakehner stallions to all sport horse breeders.
The opportunity to secure a stallion service at below market prices is made even better as the resulting foals will be eligible for the ATA’s Futurities which have paid out over $500,000 and every successful bidder will receive a coupon for $50 off the registration fee for the resulting foal if it is registered with the ATA before its first birthday.
The auction is not limited to Trakehner mare owners, but is open to owners of all types of mares. Many successful horses in the Dutch, Hanoverian, Oldenburg and other warmblood registries carry significant amounts of Trakehner blood. Trakehner horses are experiencing a renewed popularity in Europe where the success of horses such as Blue Hors Matine (by the Trakehner stallion Silvermoon), Moorland’s Totilas and Painted Black (both by Gribaldi) and Seacookie (out of the Trakehner mare Sonnenwende) are demonstrating the benefit of Trakehner blood for adding athleticism, elegance, heart, lightness, soundness, stamina and of course, beauty. All foals will be eligible for ATA registration.
To find out more about the stallions offered and the auction’s rules, and to register and bid, please visit http://www.americantrakehner.com and click on the auction link. It is recommended that you review the terms for each stallion’s service and that you contact the stallion owner or agent with any questions you may have about breeding your mare and the fees that are paid directly to them for container deposits, collection and shipping before bidding, as all bids are paid to the ATA and are binding and non-refundable. Please e-mail webmaster (at) americantrakehner (dot) com or call 740-344-1111 if you need assistance or would like more information.
We invite you to consider a Trakehner stallion for your mare this year, but don’t delay as the auction closes at midnight EST on Sunday, February 14th.
NO SECOND CHANCE. Please be aware that the ATA Stallion Service Auction does not conduct a second chance auction for unbid services after the close. If you plan to bid on a participating stallion, make sure your bid is received by midnight EST Sunday, February 14th. Good luck and Happy Breeding!
