That’s served us well as a company over the past 42 years, and will continue to guide our business decisions.

Amplify Credit Union is hiring 32 additional workers in 2010, and has announced plans to open a sixth location in downtown Austin this summer. The new branch will be in the former Wolf Camera store on Congress Avenue near Sixth Street.
“Amplify is on the leading edge of the economic recovery,” says Paul Trylko, Amplify President and CEO. “We’re adding jobs across all divisions of our
company and growing to meet our members’ needs.”
The growth of Amplify is a testament to its sound management strategy, both in positive economic times and those that are more challenging. Since Amplify does not invest in risky sub-prime mortgage loans, it felt little impact from the fallout in 2008 and 2009. And while many banks have virtually stopped lending, Amplify continues to lend to qualified applicants and in fact, is shoring up its business lending division. One of the factors leading to the decision to expand to the new downtown location was a strategic commitment to increase focus on small business lending.
“As a not-for-profit member-owned cooperative, our primary responsibility is to take care of our members,” Trylko explains. “That’s served us well as a company over the past 42 years, and will continue to guide our business decisions.”
AMPLIFY Federal Credit Union, with more than $535 million in assets and over 42,000 members, is open to anyone in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Caldwell and Bastrop counties.
