Guests who need to get to California Adventure, pronto, can book deluxe accommodations at the hotel near Disneyland with rates starting at $229 per night and take advantage of a package that will surely get them revved up. Special perks include a $100 gift card that can be used for food and souvenirs in the theme park’s new Cars Land, which is modeled after the fictional town of Radiator Springs in the Disney Pixar movie “Cars.”
Mouseketeers can spend the day checking out three new family rides including Radiator Springs Racers, Luigi’s Flying Tires and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree before stopping for some fuel at Flo’s V8 Café, Taste-In or Cozy Cone Motel. Along the way are pit stops like Ramone’s House of Body Art, Radiator Springs Curios and Sarge’s Surplus Hut to browse and shop. The thrilling world of Lightning McQueen and all of his friends is set to open June 15.
Also debuting among the additional 12 acres of fun are Buena Vista Street, a new entrance that features Red Car Trolleys, and Carthay Circle Theatre and Restaurant, which will serve as the premier dining spot in Disney California Adventure.
After a long day’s journey, vacationers can then head three blocks back to the Anaheim hotel and park themselves on one king or two double beds featuring down comforters, custom duvets, cotton-rich linens and down and feather pillows. Wet bars, mini refrigerators, wireless high-speed Internet and in-room movies and coffee makers are other comforting amenities in more than 950 rooms.
