Anchor Intelligence, the leading provider of traffic quality solutions, today announced that it is launching the first ever domain-level TQ management system as part of its ClearMark product suite. The new program, designed specifically for ad networks and publishers who partner with Yahoo, enables Anchor customers to improve the overall quality of their traffic feeds to Yahoo. As a result, Anchor customers are able to provide better performance for Yahoo's advertisers while also maximizing their Yahoo TQ scores to optimize publisher returns.
Using Anchor's TQ management system, customers can eliminate poor quality traffic sources that degrade their TQ scores while capitalizing on high quality traffic sources that improve their TQ scores. ClearMark, Anchor Intelligence's flagship traffic scoring system, evaluates all of the inbound ad clicks for a given customer and generates a quality score for each referrer domain or traffic source. Using domain-level scores, customers can determine the contribution of a specific referrer domain to its associated Yahoo TQ score at both the type tag and source tag levels and make the appropriate adjustments to improve overall traffic quality. Anchor has worked with beta customers for several months and the results of its analysis have proven promising. Using Anchor's predictive scores for referrer domains, publishers and ad networks are able to proactively manage the quality of traffic that they deliver to Yahoo and other advertising partners resulting in improved performance for advertisers and higher returns for publishers.
