“TEM is a natural extension of NEC’s Managed and Lifecycle Services," said Paul Lopez, general manager, operations planning and development, NEC.

AnchorPoint, a leading provider of integrated Telecom Expenses Management(TEM) solutions, announced today the inclusion of its software as part of a managed TEM offering by NEC Corporation of America (NEC). Under this agreement, AnchorPoint, A Division of MTS will provide hosted TEM software and services to NEC to integrate into NEC’s lifecycle services and Network Operations Center (NOC) offering for customers.

Telecom expense management reflects the evolution of technologies, managed services, and professional services used to support the enterprise telecom department,” said Hyoun Park, research analyst at Aberdeen Group, a Harte-Hanks company. “The holistic combination of managed TEM delivery allows organizations to control all aspects of enterprise communications deployments and create visibility into services and related costs.”

NEC Managed TEM Services, powered by AnchorPoint, are being offered as part of its Managed and Lifecycle Services offerings. The addition of AnchorPoint’s proven TEM hosted software solution will enable C-level executives and other business leaders to better control telecom operating costs and expenses related to communication assets, such as equipment and services.

“TEM is a natural extension of NEC’s Managed and Lifecycle Services, and by collaborating with a proven industry leader like AnchorPoint, we will enable customers to centralize management, align purchasing decisions with business goals, and potentially uncover revenue sources that can be used to reinvest in enterprise communications,” said Paul Lopez, general manager, operations planning and development, NEC.

According to Eytan Bar, CEO, MTS, “NEC and MTS have a long partnership history of delivering telemanagement solutions to its customer base. Delivering our AnchorPoint TEM solution to NEC reinforces our commitment to them in expanding the outsourced services to their customers.”

Offered as a software license, hosted or outsourced solution, AnchorPoint TEM enables customers to intelligently manage, plan, optimize, and reduce their communications and network investments. AnchorPoint customer engagements begin with Map-to-WinSM, AnchorPoint’s strategic consulting approach. Map-to-WinSM enables organizations to effectively align their business goals with their people, process and technology investments, and to achieve these results quickly.
