PETCO Animal Supplies Inc. unveils a new television campaign created by M&C Saatchi Los Angeles this week. The humorous television commercials are now running nationally on network and cable outlets.

What A Drag” focuses on PETCO’s leadership in the natural pet food category. The creative highlights the benefits of natural pet food and the large selection available at PETCO.

Reflection-Grooming” showcases PETCO’s pet grooming services and “Reflection Apparel” highlights the stylish pet fashions available exclusively at PETCO.

The spots utilize the overarching messaging theme ''PETCO: Where the Pets Go,'' which is visually enhanced by an animated dog door.

''These engaging television commercials differentiate PETCO from our competitors while stressing our superior product and service offerings,'' said David Bolen, PETCO Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer.

''In this highly cluttered marketplace, we wanted a brutally simple creative approach that would stand out,'' explained Huw Griffith, Chief Executive Officer, M&C Saatchi North America. “Our goal was to keep the campaign fun and all about the pets.”
