http://anthem. edu/minneapolis-minnesota [Anthem College __title__ ] in St. Louis Park will host a day-long Spring Open House featuring its allied health education and training programs next Wednesday, March 28, from 9 am to 8 pm.
Anthem College offers Diplomas and Associate of Applied Science degrees that prepare students to enter these healthcare careers:
- Limited Scope X-Ray Technician
- Massage Therapy
- Medical Assistant
- Medical Billing and Coding
- Pharmacy Technician
A Surgical Technologist program offers the Associate degree only.
“Anthem College really is different from other schools,” says Campus President Elizabeth Beseke. “We are dedicated to making sure that students who come here ready to learn graduate with the skills, knowledge, and drive to succeed on the job. We support our students from Day One, and offer services that include tutoring, helping them find transportation or childcare, and even part-time jobs.”
Michelle Giddings, CMA, who graduated from Anthem’s Surgical Technologist and Medical Assistant programs, praises the College for going “above the call of duty to help ever student succeed,” particularly for students struggling to make ends meet. Giddings also appreciated the single-class format that lets students focus on one class per month.
Anthem’s instructors have been recognized for their professionalism and dedication. Last month, Medical Billing and Coding instructor Virginia Berney was named the Member of the Year by the Minnesota (Gopher) chapter of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM). And last year, Massage Therapy Program Chair Rebecca Krause, who serves in the Army Reserves, received the Army Achievement Medal.
