Anthem College-Sacramento Invites Public to Open House

Anthem College, located at 9738 Lincoln Village Drive in Sacramento, invites the public and potential students to attend a Swing into Spring! Open House next Wednesday, March 29, from 9 am to 8 pm.

Current students, faculty, and staff will be available to speak with prospective students about Anthem College’s menu of allied health education and training programs that prepare students to enter careers in one of the following healthcare fields:

† Holds programmatic accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Higher Education Schools (ABHES)
†† Holds programmatic accreditation from the American Society of Healthy-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP)

“Spring is a great time to think about making a positive change in your life,” says Gordon Kent, Campus President for Anthem College-Sacramento. “Our Open House theme plays on baseball’s Spring Training, but it also reflects our commitment to work with and support students ready to study for and prepare to enter a new career, or move up in the one they already have.”

“Anthem College really made being an adult learner a great experience,” says 2010 Dental Assistant graduate Samantha Walls, RDA. “I came to Anthem College at a time when I knew I needed a change in order to have a promising future…I was introduced to a strong group of educational leaders, people who not only have a passion for what they do, but also for what their students accomplish.”

Students who successfully complete a program receive a Diploma. The College is has institutional accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national accreditor and recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

  •     Dental Assistant: http://www.dbc.ca.gov/da_program/examstats.shtml
  •     Pharmacy Technician: The State of California only requires Pharmacy Technicians to register with the State Board of Pharmacy. As a result, licensure pass/fail rates are not available. Graduates of the college must have a high school diploma or GED and are eligible to sit for the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
