5 Top Employees Complete CPO Certification Program

Anthony & Sylvan Pools Corporation, one of the nation’s leading swimming pool builders, is proud to announce the certifications of five employees in their retail division. Retail Managers T.J. Lathbury, Alexander Blake, Matthew Kurtz, and Tim Lauchnor were among the employees who received certifications as well as Carol Barthold who serves in Retail Administration. The Certified Pool/Spa Operator(r) Certification Program provides training to teach the basics of pool and spa operations.

Alan Walker, General Manager of Anthony & Sylvan Pools’ East Coast Division, states, “This certification is going to offer these five employees a much greater understanding of the pool and spa operations.” All five employees completed a rigorous two day program emphasizing pool and spa chemistry, testing, filtration and swimming pool maintenance.

The Certified Pool/Spa Operator(r) Certification Program has offered the most extensive training in the pool industry since 1972. CPO Certified instructors help to protect swimmers by eliminating hazards in the water and at aquatic facilities. Participants bring with them a broad understanding of pool care, management and risk reduction. The prestigious CPO program is recognized nationally as well as internationally.
