No other subject on earth has been studied more intensively than the human body, but despite the fact that modern medicine has taken great strides forward in solving our physical ailments, we do not yet completely understand how the mind works.

Anthony Penderis’ new exposé, “The Carpet Mind: The Laws of Thinking Defined” (published by AuthorHouse) defines his theory on laws that control the thought processes of the human mind.
“The human mind is generally regarded as the 'last frontier' in neuroscientific circles,” Penderis explains. “No other subject on earth has been studied more intensively than the human body, but despite the fact that modern medicine has taken great strides forward in solving our physical ailments, we do not yet completely understand how the mind works.”
“The Carpet Mind,” is a steppingstone Penderis has created towards solving the so‐called "problem of consciousness”. He denounces free will and sets the stage for a model of the conscious mind as he attempts to unravel the mechanics of the mind and understand the human psyche. Penderis reasons that since laws of nature explain all other natural phenomena, there must be laws that explain thought processes. “The Carpet Mind” outlines 10 “Fundamentals of the Thinking Process” that he has developed in that vein of thought.
An excerpt from “The Carpet Mind”:
"All scientific theory is based on cause and effect, which is also known as the Law of Causality. According to this law, all events are caused by other preceding events. Therefore, in our system of logic, nothing can happen by itself. This phenomenon is also subjected to certain principles or laws, which Newton and Einstein regularly referred to as the Laws of Nature. It stands to reason then that even the process of thinking cannot happen by itself. It must be subjected to the Law of Causality, and, furthermore, be guided by certain Laws of Nature.”
