Special exhibit of a never before seen collection relating to the Herreshoff family. The Herreshoff’s were for generations at the forefront of being America’s inventors and industrialists. They designed and built a succession of undefeated Cup sailboats during the period 1893 - 1920. For the first time ever part of a Charles Frederick Herreshoff collection, to include half hulls, nautical instruments, original drawings, blue prints, sketches, photographs, personal albums and scrap books, files, etc., will be exhibited by Lynn Harding, Antique Instruments of the Professions and Sciences.
