WorthPoint Corporation, the world’s largest resource for researching art, antiques and vintage collectibles, based in Atlanta, GA, today announced the 5th anniversary of its founding. In the last 5 years, WorthPoint has helped lead a transformation in the antique and collectible industry, enabling collectors and antique dealers to not only research an item, but also determine its true market value based on what similar items have previously sold for through either various online marketplaces or auction venues. Additionally, WorthPoint maintains the leading online marketplace that allows users to buy or sell genuine antiques and collectibles.

Founder and CEO, Will Seippel reflected on the past five years by saying, “WorthPoint was founded to empower collectors and antique enthusiasts just like me to become better educated when it comes to valuing as well as buying or selling their extremely unique items. We have maintained that focus throughout our five year history. Our experience, integrity and positive results have been an integral factor in our success, and our clients value these traits.”

Will is extremely enthusiastic about the future saying, “We enjoy the business of assisting our customers in finding the quality data and information they are searching for – to make their lives just a little easier. When I first started selling my prized collections, figuring out what my items were really worth was always the most difficult part. And, even once an item was valued, getting it sold and off the shelf was a challenge. We help our customers with this every single day and we plan to continue every single day moving forward.”

“We are constantly making changes to improve the customer experience,” said Will, “and we will continue to grow and evolve. However, our original mission will always be central to our business model and we will strive to develop new and innovative ways to enable the everyday collector or antique investor.”

The WorthPoint Corporation suite of offerings consists of WorthPoint.com, an online resource for researching and valuing antiques, art and collectibles; MarksandLibrary.com, an online resource for investigating makers’ marks as well as accessing a library of virtual books from leading publishers on a wide range of collecting topics; and GoAntiques.com, the leading online marketplace for buying and selling antiques, art and vintage collectibles.
