Smart Apparel Group Ltd., the Hong Kong based apparel manufacturing and marketing division of Youngor Group Ltd. (SSE:600177), announced today that Frank Xu has been promoted to managing director for Smart Apparel effective December 1, 2009. Formerly deputy managing director for Smart, Xu's extensive experience in the apparel and retail industries includes 13 years in the retail division of Youngor Group Ltd.
Jesse Zee, managing director of Smart Apparel for 14 years, has assumed a new role as vice chairman of the group. Both Xu and Zee will continue to be based in Hong Kong.
