Today AppGyver (http://www.appgyver.com), a leading provider of innovative tools for rapid mobile app development, announced the public beta release of "AppGyver Steroids Toolbelt" which is designed to streamline Adobe PhoneGap app development and deployment for both Android and iOS.
Toolbelt is the first offering from the company's Steroids product line for hybrid app developers. It solves many of the widely reported PhoneGap issues and frustrations. Developer benefits of the straightforward Toolbelt interface include:
- Rapid development workflow of Android and iOS apps
- Build service with custom PhoneGap plugins
- No need to maintain native code and libraries
- Extremely easy ad-hoc distribution of apps
- Freedom from Xcode and other native SDKs
"Toolbelt takes the laborious and frustrating aspects of creating PhoneGap apps and makes it a quick and enjoyable experience," said Marko Lehtimaki, AppGyver founder and CEO. "We have fixed a lot of the broken and annoying issues in PhoneGap development with this initial release. Our goal is to make hybrid app development as straight-forward as regular web development; Steroids will also noticeably boost the actual performance of PhoneGap based apps."
Lehtimaki explained "Real-time app testing can be done with QR codes; once an app has been created with Steroids Toolbelt, test users anywhere in the world can immediately scan the QR code to download and try the app. Once an app is ready for release, it can be distributed to the App Stores with a few simple steps".
Steroids Toolbelt is free to use, a premium plan will be added in the future.
