Appigo adds location alerts to Todo on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch as well as the ability to print your Todo lists from your computer on Todo for Mac.

The user simply defines a location with the on-screen map that pops up or by typing in an address and the alert goes off when the user assigns it to.

Appigo today announced that Todo on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch will now have location based alerts. Allowing users to customize alerts at specific locations as they arrive or leave those areas.

The new locations alerts allow users the freedom to be reminded not only at a specific time, but also in a specific place.

Boyd Timothy, president at Appigo said the location alerts are easy to set up and simple to understand. “The location alerts work seamlessly,” said Timothy. “The user simply defines a location with the on-screen map that pops up or by typing in an address and the alert goes off when the user assigns it to.”

The location alerts built into the Todo app utilizes the on-board GPS of the iOS device to alert users when they request it. It can be at any definable location and at any time.

As soon as the user pulls out of their work parking lot, a reminder will pop up, letting the user know it’s time to run to the store and grab the milk, or whatever they need.

Calvin Gaisford, CEO at Appigo said the location based reminders are something that will revolutionize the Todo app.

“Our users now have the capability to use their phone as a personal assistant, just put in what you need and where you want to be reminded and Todo does the rest,” said Gaisford. “With reminders built into the Todo app, our users can concentrate on what’s most important, getting things done.”

The Appigo team didn’t stop at location based reminders, they have also added the ability to print Todo lists from the desktop version of Todo.

In an effort to assist those without iOS devices, the ability to print Todo lists has allowed users of Todo for Mac to take their lists on the go, even when they don’t have an iPhone.

With a team of developers committed to bringing its customers the best apps, Appigo is always looking to improve its apps.

“Our employees are top notch,” said Gaisford. “They are working to improve our products every single day and when we can create apps that customers want, we know we are succeeding.”

The updates for Todo for iPhone and Todo for Mac are available now in the Apple App Store. They are free of charge to current users of the Todo apps.

A media kit is available on the Appigo Website and includes hi-resolution app icons and screenshots.
