With apps bringing in over 1 million downloads within the first two weeks of their debut, we wanted to provide individuals a place where they can make their million dollar app come to life.

A new site devoted to helping businesses and individuals get their mobile application projects from concept to creation went live today with the launch of AppTank at apptank.com.

AppTank is a website that caters to all application developers and those that have application projects. The site’s purpose is to allow app developers to purchase leads for new app ideas or app projects posted by individuals and businesses.

“There are so many people out there with great ideas for apps, but they don’t have the skill set to develop the app on their own or even know who to ask,” said Kayvon Olomi, AppTank creator. “We wanted to provide an outlet for everything app related from new concepts to existing projects that just need updating.”

AppTank is catering to one of the world’s fastest-growing industries. According to a recent Gartner report, the $6 billion mobile app industry is expected to quadruple by 2013.

“With apps bringing in over 1 million downloads within the first two weeks of their debut, we wanted to provide individuals a place where they can make their million dollar app come to life,” said Olomi.

The user-friendly site allows individuals and businesses to post ideas, projects and concepts with parameters like cost, complexity, location and deadline.

Developers review posted projects and purchase leads for those that meet their expertise, timeframe and interests. AppTank pre‐qualifies each lead.

“Part of the service we provide is ensuring the projects found on our site are viable business leads with high potential for conversion into a mutually beneficial business relationship,” said Olomi.

AppTank supports all app platforms from those downloaded to mobile devices such as iPhone and Android, to mobile site apps or apps found on Facebook.

Posting ideas to AppTank is free for users while developers pay a small fee to purchase pre-qualified leads.
