Electronic Health Record leader increases physicians’ licenses secured in first quarter of 2010, continuing previous growth

During our most recent quarter we continued to achieve significant gains in market adoption. Since the end of 2004, the number of providers selecting our solution has increased at a compound annual growth rate of more than 110 percent.

Aprima Medical Software , a leading developer of electronic health record (EHR), practice management (PM) and revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions for medical practices, today announced strong first-quarter results driven by increases in new client wins.

Notable first quarter wins include Capital Health Systems. This 49 provider, 12-location, leading regional health system in central New Jersey was contracted in March. They will be using Aprima’s EHR/PM solution.

"Since finalizing our contract with Aprima earlier this year, we have continued to be very pleased with the level of service, resources and responsiveness offered by the Aprima team,” said Nat Bosk, Vice President, Ambulatory Division of Capital Health. "Thus far preparations have been seamless in an effort to execute a successful implementation.”

In addition, Aprima’s strength among physician specialists was demonstrated by signing practices such as Digestive Health Associates, a gastroenterology practice located in Morris, IL, and Dermatology Associates of Asheville, NC.

Other 2010 Q1 deals representing strategic geographic or specialty growth for Aprima include: Medical Arts Health in Lubbock, TX; Hypertension Nephrology Associates, PC in Livonia, MI; Princeton Endocrinology Associates and Anne Swedlund, MD, in Princeton, NJ; Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, CA; Guntersville Family Practice in Guntersville, AL; Eagles Landing Diabetes in Atlanta, GA; and Women’s Health Partners in Powell, OH.

Success was also achieved through gains made by Aprima’s Revenue Cycle Management Solution. Nissenbaum commented: "We are very pleased with the initial market acceptance which we are experiencing for our Revenue Cycle Management Solution introduced during the first quarter. We have already contracted with a number of physicians and our pipeline of activity for future business is robust."
