New Features Help Clients Better Manage People, Projects, and Resources

As part of the ongoing development of RoboHead, Aquent's web-based marketing project management solution, Aquent On Demand has released three enhancements designed to increase management-level efficiencies. These new features, available to all RoboHead users at no charge, were developed in response to client suggestions and requests.

Enhanced Resource Utilization Forecasting
Looking into the future to anticipate resource issues is an increasingly critical feature of any marketing project management solution The new forward-looking Resource Utilization Forecasting feature enables managers to examine scheduled projects and tasks and assess the forecasted workload by person. "Armed with this information, presented in an easy-to-read chart, managers can see who is working on what, how many hours they have been scheduled, and ultimately make better decisions about resource allocation," said Patrick Campbell, Aquent's Director of Client Technologies.

Home Page Task Status View
Management teams juggling multiple assignments don't have time to open each project to check its status. The new Task Status view on their RoboHead home page gives users a fast, color-coded overview of where their projects are and how many tasks are complete, overdue, at risk, and open. "With just one look at the red/yellow/green indicator, users can quickly identify projects that require their immediate attention," said Campbell.

Doubling of Custom Fields
Each RoboHead client is unique and has its own data and reporting needs. With that in mind Aquent doubled the number of custom fields allowing clients to tailor the type of information they want to collect and report on. In addition, these custom fields can now be defined as alphanumeric, number, decimal, drop-down, radio button, checkbox, and multi-select, allowing full customization to the needs of each organization. "Managers now have a single location for gathering mission-critical project details and metrics," said Campbell. "Of course these new fields integrate seamlessly with our robust reporting functionality, so clients can generate the type of reports they need to effectively manage their business."
