Due to our unique, de-coupled architecture, AnyPresence customers have the option to maintain and manage the run-time code on their own. This is a distinctly different approach than other other mobile backend-as-a-service (MBaaS) solutions.
Reston, VA (PRWEB) May 01, 2013
AnyPresence, a leading enterprise mobile development platform, today announced it has been named a "Hot Vendor in Mobile" by Aragon Research, a technology-focused research and advisory firm.
AnyPresence’s selection by Aragon Research as a "Hot Vendor" validates its status as a leader in the enterprise mobility space, and the only cloud-based solution that enables developers to assemble and deploy backend servers, native iOS, native Android, and HTML5 mobile web apps, without locking customers into the platform. Developers have full access to the source code of all run-time components, enabling them to customize both the backend server and app user interface code, without any typical proprietary platform limitations.
As highlighted in the report, “developers can create apps using templates and widgets that connect to back end systems and create mobile user interfaces for both native and HTML5 apps. AnyPresence creates native app code that also includes Storyboard metadata for iOS and XML layout for Android apps. The code is native, and can be customized by the developer. In addition, by generating Storyboard and XML layout metadata, developers can hone the app user interface using the native development tool for those environments. We see this as a valuable way for enterprises to relatively quickly create working cross-platform prototype apps that can then be customized using familiar development tools to create native app code. AnyPresence offers a unique “no lock-in” guarantee supported by a separation of design-time and run-time APIs that lets users move off the AnyPresence platform without the need to handle proprietary components.”
AnyPresence offers a completely unique option to independent software vendors and startups, who could benefit from a cross-platform development solution to reduce development costs, but also need to retain control over the intellectual property (IP) and source code of the run-time components.
“Due to our unique, de-coupled architecture, AnyPresence customers have the option to maintain and manage the run-time code on their own,” said Rakesh Rao, CTO and co-founder of AnyPresence. “This is a distinctly different approach than other mobile backend-as-a-service (MBaaS) and mobile application development platform (MADP) solutions, where customers do not have access to the proprietary run-time source code IP of the vendor.”
