Cazenovia, NY (PRWEB) December 26, 2008
Archery Equipment has been the mainstay of business for AJ's Archery located in Cazenovia (Central), NY. AJ's recently announced the launch of their new website http://www.ajsarchery.com. The website features a product catalog with nearly 10,000 archery-related products and a secure shopping cart for its customers. This is AJ's first venture into online retail sales.
AJ's motto - "We aim to please!" is also their way of conducting business. Their philosophy has always been to provide the best compound bows and archery supplies to their customers, while providing the best services possible that the archery industry has to offer. AJ's Archery is the largest stocking Mathews dealer in central New York. They are especially proud to be able to offer the PSE Pro and Bowtech product lines. Browning, Diamond, Mission & Genesis products are stocked along with many of the industry's top of the line accessories. Copper John, HHA, G5, Block, River's Edge, Millennium, Block, Delta, Trophy Ridge are just a few of the accessory lines carried.
AJ's Archery is family owned and operated. John Laubscher, the owner, started carrying archery supplies in 2001 as an adjunct to his gun and hunting shop. When asked why he opened an archery pro shop, Laubscher replied; "For over thirty years my family has been involved with archery for recreation and hunting. We were always searching for an establishment that offered high quality service and a good selection of archery supplies for recreation, target, and of course, bowhunting equipment."
AJ's Archery began in a small corner of the gun shop; it quickly encompassed the entire building. Laubscher, who opened his original gun shop in 1980, has been a hunting and sports enthusiast for over 30 years. His knowledge of bowhunting equipment has been an invaluable asset to the successful operation of the business. Laubscher says "You can purchase bowhunting equipment from many types of stores, but at AJ'S we strive to offer the finest service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We carry a huge selection of compound bows, archery equipment, and archery supplies so you can outfit your bow your way. It's rare you have to order anything, usually we have what you need on the shelf or in the warehouse"
AJ's houses a state of the art service center with 5 bow presses. This gives them the ability to tune any bow. There are 3 certified bow technicians, including Laubscher. They take great care with their customers' equipment and "attention to detail" could be the company's 2nd motto. The remainder of the building is filled with traditional and compound bows, youth bows, archery supplies and accessories, tree/ladder stands, targets, camouflage clothing and much, much more!
Allison George, John's daughter, heads up the sales department and is in charge of special orders. Allison explained her reasons why AJ's is the right choice for archery equipment. "We pride ourselves on offering the finest lines of compound bows and archery equipment. We maintain close relationships with the compound bow manufacturers to insure we have the latest products available and the technical knowledge to keep our customer's bow in top shape."
Anne Laubscher, John's wife, and Christian George, Allison's husband, can customize any arrow to meet your needs. Anne has the unique ability to wrap and fletch any arrow given to her. Chris can crest any shaft to give you a truly unique set of arrows and meticulously tune any compound bow.
Emily Laubscher, John and Anne's daughter, is in charge of clothing and toys. You will find her at all events and shows attended or sponsored by AJ's Archery.
Adam J. Laubscher, John and Anne's son, is a trained bow technician and arrowsmith and lends a hand wherever he is needed in the shop. Adam and John both hold certificates from Easton University, PSE Shooting School and PSE Technical School.
And don't be surprised if you hear children in the background when you call or stop by. Chris and Allison's children, Wyatt, age 3 and Mathew, 2, are in training to take over the business 20 or 30 years down the road. John Laubscher says it will take all of that time to absorb his knowledge of the archery equipment business
The staff at AJ's has heard many times from first-time visitors, "Wow! Nice shop! I had no idea you had so much inventory!" Giving those first-time visitors great customer service is what keeps them coming back - as customers, not visitors. Laubscher feels strongly that it is imperative for the customers to find the archery supplies or compound bow they are looking for and that they are completely satisfied when the leave the shop.
