Women working in management have secured a higher paying job because they are driven to succeed and probably unlikely to put up with disappointment or failure. This attitude will permeate all areas of their life, including their marriage, and if things are unsatisfying at home, they’ll be the first to take action.

Researchers at IllicitEncounters.com, who are fast becoming the UK’s largest body for research into the subject of adultery, have combined several recent studies to form an accurate profile of the typical female adulteress.

According to the profile, which is based on statistics from the company’s recent OnePoll survey of adultery in Britain, as well as exclusive data from the site’s membership, female cheaters are usually aged between 35 and 42, and have been married for only 5 years, disputing the widely-believed ‘Seven Year Itch’ theory.
Professionally, they are most likely to hold positions managing others, and husband’s of doctors and nurses may want to be on guard, since ‘Healthcare’ is the most common professional area for Illicit ladies.

In addition, female cheaters are also more likely to listen to rock music over any other genre, and be living in the country rather than the city. The site’s recent OnePoll survey, which quizzed 4,000 spouses on their married lives, pinpointed sleepy Dorset to be the UK’s most adulterous county, with 47% of the area admitting they had at some point cheated on their partner.

The study coincides with the announcement that, in the last 3 months, the site’s female sign-up rate has increased by some 27%.

“Although this profile looks very specific, one can understand why women who display these characteristics may be more likely to pursue an affair”, comments Sara Hartley, representative from IllicitEncounters.com. “Women working in management have secured a higher paying job because they are driven to succeed and probably unlikely to put up with disappointment or failure. This attitude will permeate all areas of their life, including their marriage, and if things are unsatisfying at home, they’ll be the first to take action.”

“Rock music, especially heavy metal, is often seen as one of the darker musical genres. Women who enjoy listing to songs with themes of breaking the rules and behaving badly are probably going to be more comfortable pushing boundaries when it comes to social constraints and norms. Having said that, more and more people are beginning to accept extra-marital relationships as a fact of life; we’re maybe a little less naughty than we were 5 years ago”.

IllicitEncounters.com expect to reach 500,000 members in just under two months; they currently have 460,000 across the UK.
