Artisano’s Oils & Spices has unwrapped one of its most-anticipated season products, a barrel-aged bourbon balsamic that is perfect for the foodie on anyone’s shopping list.

Indianapolis’ own foodie paradise, Artisano’s Oils & Spices, made waves last year when it unwrapped what proved to be a big hit among holiday shoppers—a barrel-aged, black cherry balsamic vinegar. Available in limited-edition barrels, the item went over well among chefs, culinary enthusiasts, and folks who simply loved robust, unique flavors. This year, Artisano’s is proud to unveil a new offering that is sure to go over well with the same consumers who loved the black cherry balsamic—a barrel-aged Maple bourbon balsamic, available now in limited quantities.

“This is surely one of our most hotly-anticipated holiday items, and we are excited to finally have the chance to announce its arrival,” says David Burcham, the owner of Artisano’s Oils & Spices. “As with all of our products, and with last year’s cherry balsamic in particular, this new Maple bourbon balsamic is hand-crafted and sure to be a big hit among those of us who take flavor seriously!”

The new balsamic is, indeed, a rush of flavor. A Vermont Maple Syrup Bourbon Balsamic, the new Artisano’s product is made with authentic Backbone Bourbon—distilled in Indiana and bottled in Kentucky. The new balsamic is available in limited quantities, while supplies last, and it comes in a specially designed bottle, each one hand-numbered to commemorate the uniqueness and rarity of this product. In total, only 500 bottles will be made.

Burcham says the new balsamic is an excellent holiday gift item, for a variety of people. “Certainly, this very unique product makes for a tremendous, thoughtful corporate gift idea,” he muses. “Already we have had many people buying them in bulk, sometimes 30 or 40 at a time, with the intention of giving them as corporate gifts.”
