Tween Executive Producer Irene Dreayer has cast one of the winners from her “Wanna Be a Dray Kid?” weekly Facebook Contest, in a new show. Skylar Marks, from Maui, is the host of The Dray Way’s first Web video series, ASK SKYLAR, shooting in June.


As soon as I met her (Skylar) and Skyped with her I knew this was the girl I wanted to cast… to be there with me to answer questions, says The Dray, I chose her because she was the right girl for the job.

ASK SKYLAR is a new weekly web video series set to start airing this June on and on The Dray Way’s YouTube Channel. The show is being produced by Tween TV Executive Producer /Tween Starmaker, Irene Dreayer, known as The Dray, for The Dray Way. The Dray has executive produced TV shows and movies with stars such as Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Debby Ryan, Tia and Tamara Mowry, Becky and Milly Rosso. For almost a year, The Dray has been consulting talented kids nationwide with Skype Session packages on and running the WANNA BE A DRAY KID? Contest on Facebook. Kids entering the contest are required to upload their video on the page showcasing their talent to win a free Skype Session with The Dray. The Dray selects a new winner every week.

Skylar Marks, A Dray Kid Contest Winner from Maui, is the star of ASK SKYLAR, a tween/teen advice video web series hosted under the guidance of The Dray. ASK SKYLAR, set to air in late June was created by The Dray because she felt it was important for kids to be able to connect with other kids similar to themselves. And what better place to connect with kids than where they live, on the Web? The Dray specifically cast contest winner, Skylar Marks because she felt Skylar had the sensibilities required for an advice show.

“As soon as I met her (Skylar) and Skyped with her I knew this was the girl I wanted to cast… to be there with me to answer questions,” says The Dray. “I chose her because she was the right girl for the job.”

ASK SKYLAR asks kids to post their questions on The Dray Way’s Facebook & Twitter communities to be answered on the show. Questions coming in from kids cover subjects such as image concerns, being misunderstand, bullying and how to handle audition nerves. Skylar and The Dray will answer questions in weekly episodes airing on and on

“I’ve always wanted to do a show where kids get to ask other kids questions and talk about things that are happening in their life,” says The Dray. “I can’t wait for myself and for Skylar to answer questions from kids nationwide so we can all talk with each other.”
