Heritage Woods of Belvidere, a BMA affordable assisted living community in Boone County, Illinois, is hosting an informational program on “Coping with Depression” at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

The program is being sponsored by Heritage Woods and Able Home Health.

“Whether you have suffered a loss or would just like to know about how to cope with the Winter Blues, we invite you to come and join us,” says Robin Bertram, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Belvidere.

The program is open to the public, and there is no charge to attend.

Heritage Woods of Belvidere is located at 4730 Squaw Prairie Rd. in Belvidere, Illinois.

Heritage Woods of Belvidere is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

Residents live in a residential apartment-home environment and receive personal assistance and help with medications. Each of the private apartments features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, and an emergency call system.

Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Meals, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

Based in Bradley, Illinois, BMA manages 36 senior living communities, housing more than 3,300 homes and apartments.

BMA is developing a Heritage Woods affordable assisted living community in Freeport. The community is scheduled to open for occupancy in the summer of 2013.
