Heritage Woods of Benton, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting an informational program on Elder Abuse at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 21.
The community, which is located at 1305 Bailey Lane in Benton, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
Judy Ellet of the Shawnee Alliance for Seniors will be speaking on The Facts about Elder Abuse.
The program is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.

Heritage Woods of Benton is the only senior living community in Franklin County, Illinois, that is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program. The community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
