Heritage Woods of Benton, a BMA affordable assisted living community in Franklin County, Illinois, is hosting an afternoon of Line Dancing at 2 p.m. on June 14.
The community, which is located at 1305 Bailey Lane in Benton, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
"We invite you to join us for a great afternoon of dancing, music and exercise," says Leanne DeRossett, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Benton.
The afternoon will feature a line dancing performance by The Caroliners.
"After the performance, The Caroliners will be giving us line dancing lessons," says DeRossett. "We also will be serving light refreshments."

Heritage Woods of Benton is the only senior living community in Franklin County that is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which enables the community to serve older adults of all incomes, including those who are on or would qualify for Medicaid.

Certified nursing assistants, working under a licensed nurse, are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in social activities and special programs such as our afternoon of line dancing," says DeRossett.
