Prairie Living, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting a free informational on Living Wills at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the community in Carbondale, Illinois.
Hospice of Southern Illinois will be providing detailed information about establishing and invoking a Living Will and guidance for completing the appropriate paperwork, says Heather Laughland-Etherton, Administrator of Prairie Living.
The presentation is open to the public.

Prairie Living is located 1.5 miles west of Southern Illinois University at 955 Villa Ct. in Carbondale.
The community provides older adult with the opportunity to live in a residential apartment-home environment and receive personal assistance and help with medications. Three meals a day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
The community is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which enables Prairie Living to serve older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid.
