Put on your formal best, or simply come as you are, but be prepared to have an evening of fun at the 2013 Heritage Woods Homecoming Dance.
Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) October 11, 2013
Heritage Woods of Charleston, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will host a Homecoming Dance from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 19.
The community, which is located at 480 Polk Ave. in Charleston, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
This year's Heritage Woods Homecoming theme -- Paint the Town Blue -- matches the Eastern Illinois University Homecoming theme.
Jim Reed will provide musical entertainment as he plays his guitar and sings classic country and rock songs.
The newly crowned Heritage Woods King and Queen will also make an appearance at the dance, which is open to the public.
“Put on your formal best, or simply come as you are, but be prepared to have an evening of fun at the 2013 Heritage Woods Homecoming Dance,” said Director of Marketing Samantha Landrus.

Heritage Woods combines residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications, and a variety of convenience and support services, says Landrus.
Residents live in private studio and one-bedroom apartments, which they furnish and decorate to their taste. Each of the apartments features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning, and an emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and participate in activities and special events," says Landrus.
