"We are collecting clothing and non-perishable food items for flood victims"
Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) April 22, 2013
Heritage Woods of Dwight, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is assisting the United Way of Grundy County in its efforts to provide disaster relief for flood victims by serving as a collection site for clothing and non-perishable food items.
Heritage Woods is located at 701 E. Mazon in Dwight, Illinois. The community serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
"You can drop off your donations off clothing and non-perishable food items at Heritage Woods and we will get your donations to the United Way," says Becky Gish, Resident Services Coordinator for Heritage Woods.
"If you prefer to make a monetary donation to help the United Way in its flood relief efforts, you can drop a check off at either the First National Bank of Dwight or the Dwight Bank Branch of the Bank of Pontiac," says Gish.
The First National Bank of Pontiac is located at 122 W. Main St. in Dwight, and the Dwight branch of the Bank of Pontiac is located at 132 E. Main St. in Dwight.
