Heritage Woods of Dwight, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will host a ventriloquist show from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8.
The community, which is located at 701 E. Mazon in Dwight, Illinois, serves seniors of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
Local ventriloquist Ron Lighty will perform a show that will be enjoyed by guests of all ages. Lighty has been doing ventriloquism, puppetry and balloon art for more than 45 years.
This show will also serve as an early Grandparents Day celebration.
A dessert buffet will be provided for guests.
The show is free and open to the public.
