Heritage Woods of Flora, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting a Breakfast for Seniors and a steel guitar music performance on Wednesday, June 19.

The community, which is located at 1003 W. 4th St. in Flora, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some assistance to maintain their independence.

"Seniors are invited to come and enjoy a biscuits and gravy breakkfast and the fellowship of residents and staff of Heritage Woods," says Lucas Sigrist, Administrator of Heritage Woods of Flora. The community will be hosting the Senior Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

At 1 p.m., come and enjoy the steel guitar music of Dave Dillion, says Sigrist. His performance is open to the public.

There is no charge for either the Breakfast for Seniors or Dave Dillion's musical performance.

Heritage Woods of Flora is the only affordable assisted living community in Clay County, Illinois. The community is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in activities and special programs," says Sigrist.
