BMA Affordable Assisted Living Community to Host Parkinson's Disease Informational Program

Heritage Woods of Mt. Vernon, a BMA affordable assisted living community in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, is hosting an informational program on Parkinson's Disease at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19.

The community, which is located at 1033 S. 42nd St. in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

The program is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.

Each of the private apartments at Heritage Woods features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and an emergency alert system.

Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

The community is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and managed by BMA Management, Ltd., of Bradley, Illinois.
