Bradley, IL (PRWEB) June 17, 2013
Cambridge House of O'Fallon, a BMA affordable assisted living community in the St. Louis Metro East area, is hosting a Summer Kick-Off Car Cruise, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 21.
The community, which is located at 844 Cambridge Blvd. in O'Fallon, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
"We invite you to bring the family for a great evening of food, fun and old cars," says Tammy Loman, Director of Marketing for Cambridge House of O'Fallon.
Yesterday Once More Car Cruises will be sponsoring the car cruise in the Cambridge House of O'Fallon parking lot.
"We will be serving hot dogs, chips and lemonade for your enjoyment, and there will be drawings for prizes," says Loman.
The car cruise is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.

Cambridge House of O'Fallon is one of three Cambridge House affordable assisted living communities in the Metro East area. The other Cambridge House communities are located in Maryville and Swansea.
"We provide older adults of all incomes with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home," says Loman.
All three communities combine residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications and a variety of convenience and support services.
The private one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments include a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning, and an emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants, working under the director of a licensed nurse, are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in activities and special events such as our car cruise," says Loman.
All three Cambridge House communities are certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and are managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
"Our focus is to provide residents with the love, compassion and dignity that they deserve and help and assistance that they need," says Rod Burkett, President and CEO of BMA Management.
