Heritage Woods of Sterling, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting Stories, Fables and Anecdotes at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.
The community, which is located at 2205 Oak Grove Ave. in Sterling, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
"Mona of the Sauk Valley Story Spinners will be sharing her storytelling talents and stories, fables and anecdotes for the child in all of us, " says Dawn Powell, Administrator of Heritage Woods of Sterling.
The program is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.

Heritage Woods of Sterling is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
