Heritage Woods of Sterling, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting a seminar on Proper Hydration for Seniors at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 1.

The community, which is located at 2205 Oak Grove Ave. in Sterling, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

"Proper hydration is especially important for seniors, especially during the summer," says Dawn Powell, Administrator of Heritage Woods of Sterling. "Our dietician Joan will be talking about the importance of hydration and providing tips on how to stay hydrated."

The seminar is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.
