Vatterott College, 5537 NW Expressway, Warr Acres, now is enrolling for the new Business Management Associate of Occupational Studies and the Medical Assistant with Office Management degree programs to begin this spring.
The Business Management Associate of Occupational Studies Degree program allows students to choose electives bases on their specific areas of interest. The curriculum is designed to teach many of the skills needed to succeed in business. Business Management courses in Oklahoma City include: accounting, business management and information systems, organizational behavior, business law, retail management, customer service, business ethics and introduction to marketing.
The Medical Assistant Office Management degree program is a 70-week course designed to educate students for the medical assistant profession with a separate and additional focus on office management. Students receive medical assistant training in Oklahoma City with additional courses in human resources, HIPPA and OSHA regulations, accounting and insurance billing. After graduation, students can pursue their careers in private medical offices, medical clinics and hospitals.
