The upgraded software is Avectra’s third product upgrade this year and incorporates more than 20 new features including an enhanced member Web experience along with new social networking functionality.

In addition to user interface updates for a more dynamic, user-friendly Web experience, netFORUM Team and Pro now enables Web site administrators to make real-time edits to Web pages directly from the pages themselves -- without using any HTML coding or programming.

Additional enhancements to the netFORUM powered Web experience include:

  • Connect & Share -- a social networking tool enabling members to interact in real-time with a micro-blogging platform for posting short messages similar to Twitter
  • Enhanced membership directory enabling members to add photos to their profiles
  • A member facing My Events portal so members can identify and track all association events they have registered for, all in one location
  • An updated event registration experience, including the ability to specify guest or customer registrations and limits to prevent customers from selecting the wrong price point

The release also introduces integration with Intacct’s cloud computing-based financial and accounting programs, as well as the ability for associations to designate multiple payment processing options through one payment gateway.

By providing multiple merchant accounts, netFORUM Pro clients can now direct customer funds to specific accounts to avoid the co-mingling of association, foundation or PAC funds. Merchant account selection can be made at the product level so unique products and sales in the same shopping cart can be properly accounted for in the same customer transaction.
