Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR), a leading provider of workforce management software, today announced the addition of Rene Mejia to its leadership team as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Mejia will be responsible for the continued expansion of the company’s portfolio of channel partners across its product divisions including iEmployee and NetSimplicity.

Over the last 20 years, Mejia has established himself as an accomplished leader within the workforce management community with a broad range of experience in the total human resources suite including human capital management, benefits administration, HRIS, payroll and electronic payment solutions. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Enterprise Solutions at Stromberg/Kronos where he was a leading contributor to the company’s western region expansion in the enterprise market space. Previous to his work with Stromberg/Kronos, Mejia was the Vice President of Enterprise Solutions for Ceridian where he distinguished himself by leading his team in establishing new top line revenue growth records and sales productivity. In this role, Mejia was recognized for his accomplishments and contributions to the company with multiple prestigious presidential awards.
