Athens Consulting Volunteers and Raises Money for Several Local Organizations
Athens Consulting, the leading provider of outsourced promotional marketing and customer acquisition teams, recently volunteered at several organizations throughout the Columbus, Ohio area, demonstrating their commitment to their community and commitment to helping those less fortunate.

President and owner, Michael Rosenberg, along with his staff, volunteered at various organizations. In June, they participated in the 2009 East Side Lock Up, where they raised $1,000 and helped send nearly 42 children to MDA summer camp. The event, which took place at Martini Park, raised more than $33,000.
“We thought our profit goal would be hard to hit,” said President Michael Rosenberg. “As it turned out, the event was perfect for our skill-set. We were able to use our sales techniques to raise money, and it went very smoothly. We also had a lot of fun.”
Earlier in the summer, Athens Consulting also participated in a Four-Man Charity Golf Tournament at Foxfire Country Club in Columbus, which supported St. John’s Lutheran Church. In the spring, Athens Consulting donated their time to the Holy Family Soup Kitchen, where they helped distribute hot food to hungry people in the Columbus area around the lunch hour.
“We truly care about our community,” said President Michael Rosenberg. “The experiences we’ve had volunteering and raising money have been extremely valuable and rewarding—from a personal and professional level. Our group has truly enjoyed the experiences we’ve had and we’re looking forward to continuing our efforts in coming months.”
When deciding on a charity and organization, Athens Consulting researched various organizations and functions around the Columbus area. They decide what to participate in as a team, with Michael Rosenberg leading the group. They plan to volunteer at other local organizations in the near future.
