Mark Frost, General Manager of Jim Ellis Chevrolet, announced today that General Motors “Outreach” Program is taking place at the Atlanta Chevy dealership on Saturday, March 26. Executives, designers, engineers, marketers, administrators, and other General Motors and Chevrolet employees will be in effect “taking over” the dealership for the day for a Chevrolet Open House.

“This is a great opportunity for customers to talk to the people who actually design, build, and market their automobiles. The event is also designed to get the GM people out of Detroit and into the dealership so they can experience – first hand – the dealership retail environment,” Frost explained.

The event is called the “Meet Your Chevy’s Maker” Open House and includes “ride and drives” in the new Chevrolet Volt and Camaro Convertible. The open house will be a catered event that will include activities that will be fun for the entire family such as face painting, a bouncing tent, and goodie bags. The event starts at 10am and concludes at 5pm. Special offers on new Chevrolets will also be featured during the event.

“We are honored that General Motors and Chevrolet chose Jim Ellis for the event,” stated Jim Ellis Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer Jimmy Ellis. “The GM Outreach Program selected nine markets across the United States and Jim Ellis was chosen exclusively to represent Chevrolet in Georgia.”
