Parc at Piedmont – East Cobb, a premier Atlanta retirement and independent living community, hosted a meet-and-greet on Wednesday, June 16th with candidates on the Cobb County primary ballot. The event gave voters the opportunity for one-on-one conversations and small group interactions with the candidates, as opposed to planned speeches or debates. The forum was open to all Parc residents, as well as to the general public.

Candidates in attendance included those for Cobb Commission Chair, the northeast Cobb Commission seat, several school board seats, state Attorney General candidate, numerous statehouse seats and several Cobb Superior Court Judges.

“We were delighted to provide the venue for this important event. Our residents are extremely independent, active and very interested in state and local politics. This was a great opportunity for the candidates to ‘come to them’ as well as visit with a number of outside guests” stated Porter Scogin, director of sales and marketing – Parc at Piedmont – East Cobb. Parc at Piedmont, an independent living retirement community, is located in Marietta, GA in east Cobb County.
