Attorneys from Atlanta-based Potter Sieg, LLC spoke at multiple events in October, sharing their expertise in the firm’s core practice areas of entertainment law, criminal defense, family law, and probate.
Diona Potter and Paul Sieg both spoke at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School at the invitation of family law instructor, Randy Kessler. Topics focused on issues that affect practicing domestic relations attorneys, including unique challenges in complex divorce cases and how to obtain the best child custody and support results. The 50+ attendees were very receptive, and engaged in a spirited dialogue that impressed the partners from Potter Sieg.
“Paul and I really appreciated how engaged the audience was, as well as how passionate they were about the human side of effectively representing fathers, mothers, grandparents, and children,” said Diona Potter.
Paul Sieg also spoke at the Songwriters Composers Music Conference held at the Hilton Atlanta. The nationally syndicated conference, titled "It’s All About the Business," was attended by some of Atlanta’s top up-and-coming artists, as well as established industry professionals. Paul was one of several legal panelists, and spoke about the importance of protecting intellectual property rights in music and entertainment.
The audience found real value in hearing about challenges that exist in the industry from an experienced Atlanta entertainment attorney. “The SCMC Music Conference was very pleased to have Paul as a member of the 'It's All About the Business' workshop attorney panel,” said A & R and Events Coordinator, Kash Johns. “We received very positive feedback from the artists, producers, and songwriters in attendance at the Atlanta conference about the benefit of hearing attorneys, specializing in entertainment law, speak to the legal issues that may be encountered throughout their music careers.”
