Imperial Finance & Trading, LLC Hires Former Deputy Attorney General
to its Staff

insurance, is pleased to announce the addition of Mitchell A. Cohen,
Esquire as senior attorney.
Cohen was previously a Deputy Attorney General with the Pennsylvania
Office of the Attorney General, Medical Fraud Control Section. He has
also served as a Senior Lead Prosecuting Attorney with the Florida
Department of Health. Cohen has been a Lead Assistant Attorney General
in the Medicaid Fraud Control Section, a specially designated State
Attorney for Palm Beach County, and has overseen health care
investigations in civil, criminal, and administrative matters. This work
included prosecution of parties who abused, neglected, or exploited
senior citizens. Cohen was recently chairperson of the Client Relations
Committee for the Palm Beach Bar Association.
In addition, Cohen published an article in the March 2007 edition of the
Florida Bar Journal entitled “Responding to
State Government Health Care Fraud Investigations.”
He has written legal articles for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute,
Matthew Bender, Opus Communications, and the Florida Bar Journal, and is
a frequent lecturer on confidentiality and health practices, medical
record keeping, and medical fraud.
